Maisel's Trading Post Dragon's Breath Sterling Ring w/ Stamping, Very Vintage

Offered here is a VERY vintage Maisel's Trading Post sterling ring with a long dragon's breath stone.
This ring looks to me like it might have been an adjustable that was sized at one point for a rather small finger, size 3 or 4.  The sizing joint has come undone, and there is an area on one side where the design is somewhat obscured, as if the silver were partially melted - a further indication of sizing, I believe.  The stampings include an arrow and something that looks like a double cross with a wavy line inside.
The face of the ring is 1.5 inches from end to end.  I've included a close-up with an arrow pointing to the Maisels' mark.
