FALL FORAGE Food Plot Seed Mix
This is the perfect seed blend for that small kill plot in the woods or for a fall food source to provide high quality nutrition to the deer herd before the winter. This is a fast growing plot that will stay green well into the fall. I have used this seed blend the last 3 seasons and it has been a magnet for deer.
This species included in this blend are:
31% Forage Pea
25% Buck Forage Oats
20% Triticale
9% Rut King Radish
8% Hairy Vetch
7% Crimson Clover
Plant 30-50 lbs/acre.
Plant in late summer/early fall.
Broadcast seed followed by light tillage, a drag works great.
