Extremely Rare Genuine Autograph of Robber Barron, stock market manipulator, and financier James Fisk, Jr.. Shipped by USPS First Class Package with tracking number. Arguably the rarest autograph of any of the Robber Barrons, this genuine James Fisk, Jr autograph is 7/8 inch high by 2 5/8 inch long on lined paper affixed to a card. Fisk was involved in many of the most famous events in the early days of the stock market including the Eire Wars with Jay Gould and Cornelius “Commodore” Vanderbilt in the late 1860’s and the Gold market corner that culminated the first “Black Friday” in 1869. He was the most flamboyant Robber Barron and died very young at 36 years of age due to a gunshot wound inflicted by Edward Stokes, Fisk’s mistress’s lover. His dying young contributes to the rareness off his autograph which is very uncommon to find offered for sale.
