“Flip-It” Plate, 2-sided plate -  One side laps the Other side hones. U.S. made in Fort Lauderdale.
Lapping/Honing and Honing plate A36 steel “Flip-It” Plate. Made in Florida Approx. 5” x 2 3/8” x  7/8”. Each major side has a function - Lap or Hone, or both sides can hone, one with divots and the other smooth. An easily moveable EDC and carry. Grooved sides for handling. Both sides were manually fly cut, then manually surface ground flat to about .0005” flat deviation (at an off-0-degree with a finish not glass mirror-like but a touch of tooth to permit micro capture of grit). The divot side was then lapped by hand a bit flatter.
Lap side is divoted, much like special micro diamond stones with the thin sheet steel cover. This lets you both use the divot side as a lapping plate or a hone. The other side is flat smooth for honing exclusively. This was my 1st made with divots and inadvertently hadn’t centered the first line of divots so the divots are a bit off-center. It’s cosmetic and doesn’t affect function.
Each of my newest plates here has the most minor of inclusion such as a small hairline or peck, but nothing to affect lapping or honing since they're sub surface.
